This blog has become a sort of personal-cum-public diary. As for its contents, some are meant for me and my friends and relatives; others are for the public. This blog will have only positive, ennobling, elevating, encouraging and uplifting thoughts/ideas/materials. Whoever visits should feel happy and should be able to pick up some good ideas/thoughts/links. In short, "NOTHING NEGATIVE" is my motto.(Grateful thanks to Jon Sullivan and Public-Domain-Photos.com for the background photo)

Thought for Today-494:

Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself – Emerson
My Photo Album-73: Dad and Mom on Dad's 60th birthday
This photo was taken in a photo studio in Hosur on Dad's 60th birthday. I am seated near my mom and at the other end, my uncle, dad's younger brother. Behind us, my younger brothers. Rarely, five of us, brothers, come together. On many an important occasion, at least one of us would be missing. So it is another memorable photo we cherish.

My Photo Album-70: Landmarks of Sivaganga
(9)
My friend, Mr.Senthil before Statue of Raja Doraisingam
About Queen Velu Nachiar
The Kings who ruled over Sivagangai
Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Statue just outside the Palace
Mahatma Gandhi Statue
Sivagangai Railway Station
Sri Gowri Vallabha Ganapathy Temple
During 1965-66, I studied in Raja Doraisingam Memorial College, Sivagangai. We were residing at Manamadurai, a nearby place, from where I used to commute to and fro to attend classes. This is how Sivagangai came into my life. Nearly 45 years after my college days there, I visited the place with my dear friend, Senthil, and clicked the landmarks for posting in my blog.
