In Lighter Vein-27: HR Manager's Love Letter

HR Manager wrote a love letter to his girlfriend!!

Ever wondered how a HR manager could write a love letter .

Dear Radha,

Sub: Offer of Love!

I am very happy to Inform you that I have fallen In love with you since the 12th of March (Thursday) with reference to the meeting held between us on the 11h of March (Wednesday) at 15:00hrs,

I would like to present myself as a prospective lover.

Our love affair would be on probation for a period of three months and depending upon compatibility, it would be made permanent.

Upon completion of the probation, there will be a continuous on-the-job training and performance appraisal schemes leading up to promotion from lover to spouse.

The expenses Incurred for coffee and entertainment would be initially shared equally between us.

Later, based on your performance, I might take up a larger share of the expenses.

However, I am broadminded enough to take care of your expenses account.

Request you to kindly respond within 7 days of receiving this letter, Failing which, this offer would be cancelled without further notice and I shall be considering someone else.

I would be happy, if you could forward this letter to your sister, if you do not wish to take up this offer.

Wish you all the best.

Thanking you In anticipation,

Yours sincerely,

Self-Improvement-184: Negative Feedbacks

One day a new employee went to the HR and said ..

"I'm not interested in coming to the office anymore.”

The HR responded, "But why?”
Boy: There are people who do a lot of politics and talk negatives all the time. Few do gossips all the time.
The HR replied "OK, but before you go, can you do one last thing sincerely: take a full glass of water and walk three times around the office area without spilling a drop on the floor.

"Afterwards, leave the Office if you wish for.”

The boy thought: It's a matter of minutes for him. And he walked three times around the office floor.
Then he reached HR saying that he is done with it.

And the HR asked "When you were walking around the Office floor did you see any employee speaking badly about another Employee? Any Gossips? Any disturbances?

The Employee replied “No."

HR: "Did you see any Employee looking at other employees in wrong way?"

Boy said "No”

HR: "You know why?”

Boy: "No”

HR: *"You focused on the glass, water, your steps to make sure you didn't tip it and spill any water. The same goes with our life. When our focus is on our priorities, we don't have time to see the negative comments of others.”

Moral of the story.

"Concentrate on your priorities and not on other's negative feedback."

Government knew of Johnson & Johnson faulty hip implants, took almost two years to ban

The delay in cancelling the licence assumes significance as the firm told the expert committee — appointed by the Union Health Ministry in February 2017 — that it cannot trace as many as 3,600 patients who underwent the surgeries involving the faulty implant.

GLOBALLY, Johnson & Johnson recalled its faulty hip implant on August 24, 2010 but it took Indian regulators almost two years to ban its import and cancel its licence, official records obtained by The Indian Express reveal.

This despite the fact that the regulator, Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, which comes under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, was informed of the global recall in 2010 itself.

Environment-24: Wealthy Nations outsourcing Pollution

Wealthy Nations outsourcing Pollution

Many wealthy countries have effectively “outsourced” a big chunk of their carbon pollution overseas, by importing more steel, cement and other goods from factories in China and other places, rather than producing it domestically.
