The 'Pandora Papers' investigation, based on the leak of an estimated 11.9 million documents from 14 global financial services companies, has sent shockwaves across the world. Names revealed in the leaks Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, Colombian popstar Shakira, among others. There are at least 380 persons of Indian nationality named in the Pandora Papers probe published by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. The Indian government has said it will investigate cases pertaining to 'Pandora Papers' and that it will proactively engage with foreign jurisdictions for obtaining information.
