This blog has become a sort of personal-cum-public diary. As for its contents, some are meant for me and my friends and relatives; others are for the public. This blog will have only positive, ennobling, elevating, encouraging and uplifting thoughts/ideas/materials. Whoever visits should feel happy and should be able to pick up some good ideas/thoughts/links. In short, "NOTHING NEGATIVE" is my motto.(Grateful thanks to Jon Sullivan and Public-Domain-Photos.com for the background photo)

Hong
Kong has been all over the news in 2019. In this video we'll take a look at its
economy , politics and cuisine! And we'll talk to people of Hong Kong and see
the major sights! What's really going on
in HK? Let's see real Hong Kong !

The
first of three episodes in The Chinese Silk Road documentary series! In this
episode, we explore the root of Islam in China in the ancient capital of Xian,
before moving into the mountains to discover the incredible Maijishan cave
grottoes. We then move on to Lanzhou to try a steaming bowl of the famous hand
pulled noodles, before heading to the western end of the Great Wall of China at
Jiayuguan.
The
Indian Pacific is one of the world's finest train journeys, carrying passengers
on a three night, four day excursion, the full 4,352km across Australia between
Sydney and Perth. This is a must-take trip for the rail enthusiast, being in
the top five longest trains in the world, and traversing the world's longest
straight piece of track (478km) on the Trans Australian Railway on the
Nullarbor Plain. It's a luxury experience, encompassing several off-train stops
and excursions at places of interest along the route.
On
this trip, I was kindly hosted by Great Southern Rail, who operate this
magnificent train. Tickets and journey information can be found at:
