PATTANI, THAILAND - First of all a huge thank you Bang Dim and his amazing family for inviting us to their home for a once in a lifetime home cooked meal. It was outstanding, a meal I’ll never forget. #IndianFood #MalayFood #Pattani #ปัตตานี

First off, back story:

A few days before, I was with Muhammad from Papa Tagu (https://youtu.be/O8bieTQXThc) and we stopped by the shop where he buys spices for his Thai Arabian food. We stopped in to say hi partly because the owner of the spice shop, Bang Dim, watches our video - and he’s the King of Spice in Pattani (his spice shop is called Muhammad and Sons: https://goo.gl/maps/nk4qphxFs677Y5XR8). We had a great time, and enjoyed some amazing masala tea. He also gave me the ring! Anyway, Bang Dim is half from Kerala, South India, and half local Pattani Malay. He was born in Pattani (ปัตตานี). At that meeting, he invited us over to his house to make Indian style, but Malay at the same time fish head curry.

A few days later, we headed over to the house. Bang Dim, along with his wife and entire family put on an ultimate display of hospitality and welcome, cooking an unbelievable huge fish head curry. The fish head curry was a combination of South Indian and Malay, using dry spices, curry leaves, and even green sour mango in the curry. It was outstanding, sensational beyond belief. But not only was there fish curry, but there was also an entire Malay and Indian food feast - mainly seafood.

Thank you again to Bang Dim and your entire family for this unforgettable Indian Malay meal in Pattani.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

3 Whales Rock (หินสามวาฬ) - Amazing nature in Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ), Thailand 🎥 WATCH NEXT - Most Dangerous Temple in Thailand: Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ), Thailand - Welcome to Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ) a province in the very northeastern part of Thailand, and along the Mekong River. It’s a very peaceful, lesser visited province in Thailand, and I think it’s an amazing unseen destination to travel to, especially if you love nature and the outdoors. #BuengKan#Thailand#3WhalesRock Along with visiting Wat Phu Tok (วัดภูทอก) Temple - which might be the most adventurous temple you can visit in Thailand - Bueng Kan is home to 3 Whales Rock (หินสามวาฬ), a natural formation of rocks, jetting out of seemingly nowhere, that looks like a family of three whales. To get there, it’s about a 30 minute ve from Bueng Kan city, heading to Phu Sing National Park. They charge 500 THB ($16.72) for entire truck, so you can pool with other people if you like, or you can take the private truck, which is still affordable. I think they’ve done a great job with the tour so it remains pristine and natural. Along with seeing the amazing 3 whales rock, you’ll also visit a few more sights within the park - but nothing compares to the 3 whales rock. If you’re looking for off the beaten path things to do and attractions in Thailand, Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ) is an amazing places to visit, and don’t miss 3 Whales Rock (หินสามวาฬ). Navel of the Mekong - Additionally, later in the afternoon, we stopped by at the Navel of the Mekong to see this landmark in the mighty river. Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day! 🎵MUSIC: https://goo.gl/HwVjdo

Unseen Thailand travel adventure - Thale Noi in Phatthalung! 🔥 Thailand Village Life - https://youtu.be/_Tu7nypKadM Thale Noi (ทะเลน้อย) - Welcome to Phatthalung, Thailand, one of the most relaxing provinces in Thailand. People are cool, food is delicious, and there’s some spectacular off the beaten path things to do. Part of the reason why Phatthalung is a lesser visited province in Southern Thailand is because they don’t have an ocean coastline like most other Southern Thai provinces. However, they do have a huge lake - one of them being Thale Noi (ทะเลน้อย). Today we’re going on a boat tour of Thale Noi, and then I’ll give you a tour of our homestay, plus we’ll have a quick local Thai food dinner at the house. Thale Noi tour - you’ll want to arrive between 6 - 7 am because in the morning is when you’ll see the pink and white lotus in full bloom. The lake is spectacular, so peaceful and calming, and so beautiful wich so much vegetation. Highlight recommended. Price - 450 THB ($15.07) per hour During out time at in Phatthalung at Thale Noi (ทะเลน้อย), we stayed at Uncle Sanan Homestay (โฮมสเตย์ ลุงสนั่น). He’s quite a character and his house is traditional, old, made of wood, and full of antiques. Him and his wife are also great local cooks who cook Southern Thai food. Recommended for a night or two if you really want to learn about the Southern Thai food and culture of Phatthalung along the lake. And so that wraps up this tour in Phatthalung. An amazing day and spectacular place - a really off the beaten path, unseen Thailand attraction. 📍 Uncle Sanan Homestay (โฮมสเตย์ ลุงสนั่น บ้านปากประ https://goo.gl/maps/smJvxMJXchw2N6nz8

Alappuzha (also known as Alleppey), India - The Backwaters of Kerala are one of the biggest draws to Kerala, and before going, I had no idea why. After visiting, I now know that the Backwaters are one of the reasons why Kerala is known as “God’s Own Country.”

After arriving in Alappuzha (Alleppey), we headed straight to the house-boat, a luxurious floating house-boat on the Kerala backwaters. The boat was beautiful with four full bedrooms, a full upper deck with dining room and viewing platform, and most importantly, a huge kitchen with private chefs to cook us an Indian seafood Kerala meal of your dreams! #IndianFood #Kerala #Backwaters

Ebbin had arranged for a huge seafood meal on the boat. As soon as we started sailing on the Backwaters, the amazing chefs started cooking. There were over a dozen different dishes, seafood extravaganza. The meal was absolutely incredible, and the scenery of the water, lakes, rivers, and lagoons, were spectacular.

For the rest of the afternoon, we relaxed around the boat, and eventually docked for the evening in a small village. For dinner we had a simple Kerala meal of rice porridge, with a few different chutneys, and green gram, mung beans.

Sleeping on the boat was fantastic, so quiet and peaceful, and it was a joy to wake up in the morning ready to go again. For breakfast, they made one of the best egg curries I’ve ever had in my life - one of the reasons I love Kerala so much, curry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Thank you to Alleppey Houseboat (https://alleppeyhouseboat.in/) for giving us a great deal on a house-boat, and for the amazing food and service. An incredible experience, and truly God's Own Country!

🎥 Amazing SNAKE FRUIT Salad!: https://youtu.be/en2pYLHqY9A

🏖️ Here’s the place: https://goo.gl/maps/CgSKNKfwddBKSQ5z6

Phatthalung, Thailand - Welcome to Phatthalung, one of the most chilled out and beautiful provinces in Southern Thailand. It’s home to lakes, pristine rainforest, friendly people, and delicious food. #travel #treehouse #Thailand

One of the places I was excited to visit is called บ้านต้นไม้ ร้อยหวันนอนฟังสายน้ำ (https://goo.gl/maps/CgSKNKfwddBKSQ5z6), which roughly translates to Tree House sleep well listening to the sound of the river. Quite a name for an outstandingly amazing place. And without a doubt, you are guaranteed to be surrounded by nature - within nature - and always with the sound of the river flowing in your ears. They have a number of unique tree house accommodations. Unfortunately we were able to stay in the best tree house because it’s not so kid friendly. But I’ll give you a full tour in this video, and also of the more kid friendly room where we stayed - which was still a treet house. In addition to the supreme nature environment, the food is outstanding. The owner emphasizes local and natural food, and you can taste the freshness with every bite.

An amazing place, one of my favorite nature tree house places in Thailand. For the cost, they charge 750 THB ($24.63) per person, which includes dinner and breakfast, and the accommodation.

They also cooked a special snake fruit salad while I was there, it was Amazing! You can watch that here: https://youtu.be/en2pYLHqY9A

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

🎥 Huge Arabian Thai Food: https://youtu.be/O8bieTQXThc

PATTANI, THAILAND (ปัตตานี) - After a huge Arabian Thai feast at Papa Tagu (https://goo.gl/maps/QHRZHZLB3hpabRSx7), we headed out for Day 1 in Pattani. I was excited to explore and I was blown away by the kindness of people, historical attractions, the delicious street food snacks, and the amazing natural beauty.

Here are the things we did in this Pattani travel guide video:

Pattani salt - first we visited a community that produces Pattani salt, known throughout Thailand as one of the best sea salts.

Krue Se Mosque - Welcome to the oldest mosque in Thailand, known for its brick construction and arches. It was built with Middle East and European styles in the 16th century.

Yaring City - On the way to the cape we stopped for some Malay street food sweets in Yaring City.

Laem Tachi (Tachi Cape) - One of the highlights of today was driving all the way to the tip of Laem Tachi (Tachi Cape) for sun set, spectacular.

Pattani Central Mosque - Finally, to end this tour of Pattani on Day 1, we stopped at the amazing Pattani Central Mosque at night.

Again, the people, the Malay culture, street food snacks were wonderful and it was an honor to have a chance to visit Pattani, South Thailand.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

Day 7 (Koh Chang เกาะช้าง): Eastern Thailand Food and Travel Tour. Watch all 8 videos here:

Koh Chang (เกาะช้าง) - Koh Chang is a beautiful jungle island in the Trat province of Thailand. It’s quite close to the mainland, and it’s a big enough island where you can take your car across the ferry to the island so that you can drive there. This was my first time to visit Koh Chang. I really wanted to explore the eastern side of the island, which is less visited and less developed to check out some food and fishing villages.

Kai Bae Beach - We started off at Kai Bae Beach.

Nong Anat Khao Gaeng (น้องอานัสข้าวแกงปักษ์ใต้) - This street food stall sells amazing southern Thai food curries, and this is where we first stopped for breakfast.

Beef dry curry (คั่วกลิ้งเนื้อ)

Beef soup (ซุปเนื้อ)

Dried fried fish (ปลาแดดเดียวทอด)

Total price - 190 THB ($$6.08)

The Coffee Home - Coffee wasn’t very good, but the scenery was great.

Americano - 60 THB ($1.92)

Coconut Organic Garden - This place is a must stop in Koh Chang. He’s such a friendly passionate man, who takes pride in his fruit, and he’ll serve you an amazing coconut shake.

Total price - 100 THB ($3.20)

Salak Khok (ชุมชนบ้านสลักคอก) - This is one of the few remaining traditional Koh Chang island fishing villages, and it’s a great place to see local life and take a walk.

Sakak Khok Seafood (สลักคอกซีฟู้ด) - One of the ways you can support the fishing community is by eating at the seafood restaurant. Even though it was quiet when we went there, the food was amazing, and it was so relaxing. Our bill was a bit expensive, but over half of it was because of the mantis shrimp.

Fried mantis shrimp (กั้งทอดกระเทียม)

Dried fried cuttlefish (ปลาหมึกแดดเดียว)

Shrimp salad (กุ้งพล่า)

Prik kleua (พริกเกลือ)

Total price - 1,760 THB ($56.29)

Long Beach (หาดทรายยาว) - This is a beach at the end of Koh Chang. Overall, I wasn’t that impressed.

Salak Phet (อ่าวสลักเพชร) - At the end the day we headed to Salak Phet, another village and bay. First we walked on the boardwalk over the mangroves - views were pretty fantastic, but it wasn’t in great shape. I still enjoyed it.

Krua Saeng Arun (ครัวแสงอรุณ) - Final end to the day we had another seafood restaurant, this time, it was alright, but not very good.

Crab cakes (หอยจ้อปู)

Mullet sour soup (ต้มส้มปลากระบอก)

Scallops (หอยเซลล์ผัดฉ่า)

Total price - 740 THB ($24.67)

Hope this Koh Chang (เกาะช้าง) food and travel guide will give you some ideas for your trip. Thanks for watching!

Bicycle Ride - In order to really blend in with Danish culture in Copenhagen, you need to go around the city by bicycle. So on day one of our visit to Copenhagen, we jumped into a bicycle cart, and rode over the park. #Copenhagen #Denmark

Frederiksberg Have - Copenhagen has lots of beautiful parks, and we strategically went to one called Frederiksberg Have because it wasn’t far from where we were staying, and there was a restaurant I really wanted to try in the area.

Hansens Gamle Familiehave (https://goo.gl/maps/hxY3GdoVEg18h1PZA) - I love legendary classic restaurants, and Hansens Gamle Familiehave is about as historical and classic as Danish restaurants in Copenhagen get. I went straight for the Hansens lunch platter, which included two platters - first the cold appetizers like herring, and next the hot dishes like pork. Total bill for this huge Danish lunch platter - 718 DKK ($106.43)

Hey Captain (https://www.heycaptain.dk/) - One of the attractions I was most interested in doing during my time in Copenhagen, was to take a boat Copenhagen Canal Tour. Thanks to Visit Copenhagen and Hey Captain, for taking me on this fantastic and luxurious canal boat tour of Copenhagen. The drinks made it even better. Amazing boat tour, highly recommended in Copenhagen.

Folkehuset Absalon (https://goo.gl/maps/Sjq2tUUrg9LsRa6k9) - Finally for dinner we went o Folkehuset Absalon, a former church that has been opened as a community center coffee shop, and a family style restaurant at dinner. The place is packed every night, people come looking for a social dining atmosphere, sharing tables, and delicious home cooked styles Danish food. Food was delicious. Price - 100 DKK ($14.82)

And that wraps up this tour of Copenhagen, including Danish food and attractions!
