PATTANI, THAILAND - First of all a huge thank you Bang Dim and his amazing family for inviting us to their home for a once in a lifetime home cooked meal. It was outstanding, a meal I’ll never forget. #IndianFood #MalayFood #Pattani #ปัตตานี

First off, back story:

A few days before, I was with Muhammad from Papa Tagu (https://youtu.be/O8bieTQXThc) and we stopped by the shop where he buys spices for his Thai Arabian food. We stopped in to say hi partly because the owner of the spice shop, Bang Dim, watches our video - and he’s the King of Spice in Pattani (his spice shop is called Muhammad and Sons: https://goo.gl/maps/nk4qphxFs677Y5XR8). We had a great time, and enjoyed some amazing masala tea. He also gave me the ring! Anyway, Bang Dim is half from Kerala, South India, and half local Pattani Malay. He was born in Pattani (ปัตตานี). At that meeting, he invited us over to his house to make Indian style, but Malay at the same time fish head curry.

A few days later, we headed over to the house. Bang Dim, along with his wife and entire family put on an ultimate display of hospitality and welcome, cooking an unbelievable huge fish head curry. The fish head curry was a combination of South Indian and Malay, using dry spices, curry leaves, and even green sour mango in the curry. It was outstanding, sensational beyond belief. But not only was there fish curry, but there was also an entire Malay and Indian food feast - mainly seafood.

Thank you again to Bang Dim and your entire family for this unforgettable Indian Malay meal in Pattani.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

3 Whales Rock (หินสามวาฬ) - Amazing nature in Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ), Thailand 🎥 WATCH NEXT - Most Dangerous Temple in Thailand: Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ), Thailand - Welcome to Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ) a province in the very northeastern part of Thailand, and along the Mekong River. It’s a very peaceful, lesser visited province in Thailand, and I think it’s an amazing unseen destination to travel to, especially if you love nature and the outdoors. #BuengKan#Thailand#3WhalesRock Along with visiting Wat Phu Tok (วัดภูทอก) Temple - which might be the most adventurous temple you can visit in Thailand - Bueng Kan is home to 3 Whales Rock (หินสามวาฬ), a natural formation of rocks, jetting out of seemingly nowhere, that looks like a family of three whales. To get there, it’s about a 30 minute ve from Bueng Kan city, heading to Phu Sing National Park. They charge 500 THB ($16.72) for entire truck, so you can pool with other people if you like, or you can take the private truck, which is still affordable. I think they’ve done a great job with the tour so it remains pristine and natural. Along with seeing the amazing 3 whales rock, you’ll also visit a few more sights within the park - but nothing compares to the 3 whales rock. If you’re looking for off the beaten path things to do and attractions in Thailand, Bueng Kan (บึงกาฬ) is an amazing places to visit, and don’t miss 3 Whales Rock (หินสามวาฬ). Navel of the Mekong - Additionally, later in the afternoon, we stopped by at the Navel of the Mekong to see this landmark in the mighty river. Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day! 🎵MUSIC: https://goo.gl/HwVjdo

🎥 Amazing SNAKE FRUIT Salad!: https://youtu.be/en2pYLHqY9A

🏖️ Here’s the place: https://goo.gl/maps/CgSKNKfwddBKSQ5z6

Phatthalung, Thailand - Welcome to Phatthalung, one of the most chilled out and beautiful provinces in Southern Thailand. It’s home to lakes, pristine rainforest, friendly people, and delicious food. #travel #treehouse #Thailand

One of the places I was excited to visit is called บ้านต้นไม้ ร้อยหวันนอนฟังสายน้ำ (https://goo.gl/maps/CgSKNKfwddBKSQ5z6), which roughly translates to Tree House sleep well listening to the sound of the river. Quite a name for an outstandingly amazing place. And without a doubt, you are guaranteed to be surrounded by nature - within nature - and always with the sound of the river flowing in your ears. They have a number of unique tree house accommodations. Unfortunately we were able to stay in the best tree house because it’s not so kid friendly. But I’ll give you a full tour in this video, and also of the more kid friendly room where we stayed - which was still a treet house. In addition to the supreme nature environment, the food is outstanding. The owner emphasizes local and natural food, and you can taste the freshness with every bite.

An amazing place, one of my favorite nature tree house places in Thailand. For the cost, they charge 750 THB ($24.63) per person, which includes dinner and breakfast, and the accommodation.

They also cooked a special snake fruit salad while I was there, it was Amazing! You can watch that here: https://youtu.be/en2pYLHqY9A

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

🎥 Huge Arabian Thai Food: https://youtu.be/O8bieTQXThc

PATTANI, THAILAND (ปัตตานี) - After a huge Arabian Thai feast at Papa Tagu (https://goo.gl/maps/QHRZHZLB3hpabRSx7), we headed out for Day 1 in Pattani. I was excited to explore and I was blown away by the kindness of people, historical attractions, the delicious street food snacks, and the amazing natural beauty.

Here are the things we did in this Pattani travel guide video:

Pattani salt - first we visited a community that produces Pattani salt, known throughout Thailand as one of the best sea salts.

Krue Se Mosque - Welcome to the oldest mosque in Thailand, known for its brick construction and arches. It was built with Middle East and European styles in the 16th century.

Yaring City - On the way to the cape we stopped for some Malay street food sweets in Yaring City.

Laem Tachi (Tachi Cape) - One of the highlights of today was driving all the way to the tip of Laem Tachi (Tachi Cape) for sun set, spectacular.

Pattani Central Mosque - Finally, to end this tour of Pattani on Day 1, we stopped at the amazing Pattani Central Mosque at night.

Again, the people, the Malay culture, street food snacks were wonderful and it was an honor to have a chance to visit Pattani, South Thailand.

Thank you for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!
