ENVIRONMENT : BEEAK FREE FROM PLASTICS
We eat a credit card of plastic every week, but that's NOTHING compared to the 44 pounds of plastic that we eat in a lifetime! Instead of biodegrading, plastic breaks down into tiny microplastics that have made their way pretty much everywhere! In the ocean, the Arctic ice and yes, even inside our bodies! So how do we put a stop to it? We need to hold our governments accountable for keeping plastic-producing corporations in check. Policy makes a huge difference, and so do our own individual efforts! What change have you made at home to #BreakFreeFromPlastic?
