Eyecatchers-154: "Children of a lesser cut"
I came across this shocking and painful news in the first page of The Hindu of July 18, 2012. Presumably to distingish the children admitted under the Right to Education Act, four children in Bangalore were forced to attend school in humiliation after a private institution allegedly cut off tufts of hair on top of their heads. This private institution is one of those who have been opposing the 25% Quota of RTE Act. These children had to undergo other humiliations also, which you can read by going thru the article.
