About 80,804 Commercial Vehicles were sold in India in September 2023, a growth of 5% YOY.

Tata Motors is the market leader in the commercial vehicle segment in India. It is followed by Mahindra & Mahindra and Ashok Leyland. VE Commercial Vehicles (joint venture between Volvo and Eicher Motors) is at the fourth spot. Maruti, Daimler, Force Motors and SML Isuzu are the other major players.
