Toxic Gas leak from LG Polymers company in Venkatapuram Village of Visakhapatnam district in the early hours at 2.30am

Gas is Styrene Monomer( vinyl benzene)

Off- site emergency plan activated by Dist collector and Civil Defence teams very lately. 

Acute Symptoms:  Irritation to skin ,respiratory tract and eyes, fainting. 

Toxic to environment and animals as well.

Rescue operation must be carried out with proper respiratory protection equipments. 

It's a category 4 hazard chemical and Confirmed Human Carcinogen 

Residents in and around 5Km radius must evacuate to safe distance.
