One of the
longest and heaviest trains in the world, the 1.8-mile beast runs from the
mining center of Zouerat to the port city of Nouadhibou on Africa’s Atlantic
coast. The train is the bedrock of the Mauritanian economy and a lifeline to
the outside world for the people who live along its route.

Koh Kradan (เกาะกระดาน) - During
my trip to Trang, in Southern Thailand, we decided to take a break from all the
street food tours, and escaped to Koh Kradan (เกาะกระดาน) for a couple of days. When I was researching, I came
across Mali Resort, a newly opened resort, and what attracted me was that it
looked like the villas were right on the beach, ultimate beach front. And it
looked quiet and peaceful, and very family friendly. So I booked it for a
couple nights. #Thailand #KohKradan #Island #beach
We arranged
the boat ride through the hotel, and it cost 1,000 THB. The ride took about 40
minutes, and even though it was sunny, it was very windy making for rough
conditions to get to the island. We got soaked, but it was all worth it when we
arrived to the pristine shores of Koh Kradan (เกาะกระดาน), an amazing hidden gem, paradise island in Trang,
Thailand.
Mali Resort
in Koh Kradan (เกาะกระดาน) was everything we were hoping for, peaceful,
relaxing, great value, stunningly beautiful, sand, beach, and watersports all
included. Amazing beach hotel, I would highly recommend it. Price - 3,000 THB
per night ($96.02)
Thank you
for watching and hope you’re having a fantastic day!

In which
John Green teaches you about the American Revolution and the American
Revolutionary War, which it turns out were two different things. John goes over
the issues and events that precipitated rebellion in Britain's American
colonies, and he also explores the ideas that laid the groundwork for the new
American democracy. Find out how the tax bill from the Seven Years War fomented
an uprising, how the Enlightenment influenced the Founding Fathers, and who
were the winners and losers in this conflict.(hint: many of the people living
in the Colonies ended up losers) The Revolution purportedly brought freedom and
equality to the Thirteen Colonies, but they weren't equally distributed. Also,
you'll learn about America's love affair with commemorative ceramics and what
happens when rich white guys take the reins from reins white guys, and put
together a society of, by, and for rich white guys.

In the past
3,000 years, many populations have evolved genetic adaptations to their local
environments. People in Siberia and the high arctic are uniquely adapted to
survive extreme cold. The Bajau people can dive 70 meters and stay underwater
for almost 15 minutes. So what are other recent changes? And will our
technological innovations impact our evolution? Laurence Hurst investigates.
