  • Low Heat Loss: Because molten hydroxide salts retain high temperatures so efficiently, the system can preserve usable industrial heat for up to two weeks.

​Sustainability Built Into the Supply Chain

​Unlike standard batteries that rely on expensive, heavily mined metals, this system utilizes molten hydroxide salt—a abundant byproduct recycled directly from industrial chlorine production. The material is non-toxic, highly safe, and significantly cheaper than traditional battery components.

​Beyond electrical grids, the plant generates high-temperature industrial steam reaching up to 600°C. This allows energy-intensive industries, such as commercial food processors and manufacturing plants, to replace coal and natural gas boilers with pure, stored renewable heat.

​As global energy grids pivot toward solar and wind, large-scale thermal storage solutions like Denmark's molten salt system offer a practical, cost-effective path toward a zero-carbon future.
