This blog has become a sort of personal-cum-public diary. As for its contents, some are meant for me and my friends and relatives; others are for the public. This blog will have only positive, ennobling, elevating, encouraging and uplifting thoughts/ideas/materials. Whoever visits should feel happy and should be able to pick up some good ideas/thoughts/links. In short, "NOTHING NEGATIVE" is my motto.(Grateful thanks to Jon Sullivan and Public-Domain-Photos.com for the background photo)
Happy New Year 2021
WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY, HEALTHY,

Seti the
first is arguably the most well preserved mummy found in ancient Egypt, but

From the
Himalayas in the north to the Nilgiris in the south - for a hundred years these
little trains have climbed through the clouds and into the wonderful world of
Indian hill railways.
The
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a line so close to the people that it flows
like a river through their lives. The relationship between the train and the
people is changing, however, as a new generation of Gurkhas populates these
hills, demanding an independent state and fighting for a new identity as they
journey into the modern Indian world.

From importing all the electricity it needed from Gujarat, Diu now generates power to meet all its day-time needs. This power comes from its two solar parks — spread over of 0.2 sq km — and the rooftop panels on 112 government establishments.
Which means that through the day, the sun is powering all homes, the resorts with central air-conditioning, Diu’s 60-bed hospital, government buildings, air-conditioned office buildings, and the ice factories and fish warehouses that are its main power-consuming industries.
The switch to solar has also proven to be economically advantageous for consumers in Diu, as monthly electric bills have fallen sharply since the new energy system has been operating.
To cope with nighttime power needs, Diu may transfer surplus energy to the larger grid, then source energy as needed when the sun is not shining.
Much further south, the Kochi International Airport holds the distinct honor of being the world’s first solar-powered airport.

She runs, everyday she runs faithfully through these beautiful yet tough terrains. Call her heartbeat of Shimla, our pride this is Kalka - Shimla Toy train and yes she's old but man she is still pretty.
If you do have to compare, look at the positive qualities of others- their hard work, determination etc and take inspiration to follow your aspiration.
That's the positive aspect of comparison which will help you in your personal growth. "
